We are currently seeking a dedicated Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to strengthen our team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Delivering expert legal guidance to all departments with full professional autonomy,while ensuring legal compliance of planned and existing business activities across all areas of the company
• Representing the company in out-of-court matters and supporting in legal proceedings
• Ensuring the organization complies with applicable laws and internal policies
• Participating in the review and implementation of legislative and regulatory changes
• Consultancy in Data Protection matters

Your Profile:

• Keen interest in the varied functions of corporate legal work
• Fully-qualified lawyer with a completed law degree and Second German State Exam or a foreign qualification recognized as equivalent
• Excellent legal knowledge in general civil law (especially commercial law, public law, and environmental law)
• Specialized legal proficiency in regulatory areas critical to compliance (e.g., antitrust law, export compliance, sanctions, sustainability regulations, data protection, etc.)
• In-depth expertise in specialized legal fields (e.g., labor law, insolvency law, international legal matters, competition law, climate protection laws, and specific legislation related to greenhouse gas topics)
• Ability to monitor legislative processes at both EU and national levels and assess their impact on the company
• Several years of in-depth industry experience
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken (minimum C1)
