Logistic Specialist EMEA (f/m/x)
The "Transport, Logistics & Customs" department is responsible for managing Sysmex Europe S.E.'s logistics network in close collaboration with our national affiliates, continuously optimizing warehouse and transport processes across the entire EMEA region. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in managing 3PL warehouse service providers and overseeing logistics performance. We value strong operational skills, KPI knowledge, and a hands-on, autonomous approach to improving logistics.
Your responsibilities
- Supporting and managing sub-projects within broader logistics initiatives
- Contributing to the design and implementation of a monitoring system to track and steer warehouse and transport operations
- Independently analysing and optimising existing processes along the physical flow of goods
- Assisting in the development of a KPI framework to evaluate logistics performance across warehousing, transport, and infrastructure
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders across and beyond the SCM function, as well as with external logistics partners such as freight forwarders and warehouse service providers
- Supporting the rollout and ongoing operation of planning and control systems within the logistics environment
- You will report directly to the Head of Department
Your profile
- Completed training as a warehouse logistics specialist, forwarding agent, or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in logistics, preferably with a focus on process control or process management
- Proven experience working with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems (e.g., SAP EWM, Stock Room Management, TM, Blue Yonder, etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Independent, well-structured, and team-oriented working style
