• You will manage Offshore Wind Projects across all phases: development, tendering, design, engineering and construction
• In addition, you will lead and coordinate the review of design and manufacturing documentation, advising project engineers on decision-making processes
• Overseeing the reconciliation of permitting, cable, electrical system and cable installation design, is your responsibility
• Furthermore, your task is to establish and manage a knowledge database for cables, including static and dynamic cables and accessories, within the company
• Pursuing innovation for Cable Projects and Cable Monitoring Systems and coordination with the operational department will also be your responsibility
• Moreover, you will facilitate communication and collaboration across sub-projects (HVDC, OSS, etc.), internal departments and external stakeholders to address technical interfaces and troubleshoot issues

• You have a Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Several years of professional experience in the cable industry, with expertise across all areas: cable design, production, and installation, ideally for static and dynamic cables, internal array grid and export cables are required
• Experience in a design or system management position, including electrical, thermal, and mechanical analysis of Offshore Windfarms and extensive knowledge of the submarine cable industry/technology, with a keen interest in Research and Design development is desired
• Additionally, expertise in cost estimation and budgeting for project proposals, providing detailed cost calculations, along with strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and excellent communication, persuasion and assertiveness skills should be your skillset
• Additionally, business fluency in both German and English, with the ability to work in an international team and flexibility for travel within project implementation is a must

The Cable team specializes in inner array and export cabling as part of the planning and construction of offshore wind farms. As a central point of contact and consultant for technical issues, the team is dedicated to the challenges and developments of renewable energies and provides a wide range of engineering services.
