A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Liaison Manager (f/m/d), you bring people, ideas, and opportunities together. You are the interface between Siemens Energy and our consortium partners - especially the shipyards that build offshore HVDC platforms. Your goal: smooth cooperation and optimal coordination between all parties involved. You overcome obstacles and barriers, identify potential conflicts in ongoing projects, and ensure constructive solutions. You always maintain an overview of agreements, processes, and milestones and ensure that all partners remain on track. With your keen sense for opportunities and synergies, you identify new possibilities for improving collaboration. You can inspire and motivate people and win them over to common goals.
You optimize the collaboration of all communication and process-related activities between internal and external partners. You ensure that technical, commercial, and organizational requirements are implemented transparently and efficiently—from coordinating concepts to successful implementation. You engage a network of contacts and experts and create a culture of cooperation in order to jointly realize customer-specific solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You optimize the coordination of interfaces between Siemens Energy and consortium partners (e.g. shipyards) to ensure smooth collaboration.
- You take the perspective of our customers and raise awareness of the cooperation within the consortium with the aim of convincing our customers.
- You ensure processes and communication models are in place to exchange all relevant information, decisions, and changes between the parties in a transparent and timely manner.
- You identify risks or misunderstandings at an early stage and proactively develop solutions and strategies.
- You identify synergies and optimization potential in the collaboration in order to increase efficiency and quality.
- You build and maintain a network of contacts on all sides of the consortium in order to promote a culture of cooperation and trust.
What You Bring
- You have a degree in engineering (bachelor's or master's) or many years of comparable professional experience.
- You also have several years of relevant professional experience as a general and partial site or construction manager or as sub project manager, ideally at a shipyard that builds HVDC or AC platforms.
- You are an independent, self-reliant, and quality-oriented person.
- You have experience in interface management, negotiation skills, and a basic technical understanding of offshore HVDC or AC platforms.
- You are a team player with excellent adaptability and openness to other cultures.
- You have very good German and English skills and are willing to travel both nationally and internationally for work.
