Your role
As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer / Sales Application Engineer, you are the technical voice in the sales process. You translate customer requirements into technical concepts, conduct demos and workshops, and work with Sales and Product to develop tailor-made solution proposals. In doing so, you combine in-depth technical knowledge with strong communication skills – and become a trusted advisor to our enterprise customers. Your goal: to accelerate sales cycles, precisely anchor use cases, and prove the feasibility of our solutions.
Your responsibilities
- You will support the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle, with a focus on the pre-sales phase.
- You analyze requirements and develop customized solution concepts based on Blockbrain.
- You will conduct product-related demonstrations, proofs of concept (PoCs), benchmarks, and technical workshops.
- You will work closely with the product and engineering team to incorporate feedback from customer situations into further development.
- You will create technical documentation, presentations, architectural sketches, and quotation documents.
- You participate in trade shows, webinars, and customer events—as a technical Blockbrain ambassador.
- You will support the onboarding of new customers in technical matters and contribute to a fast time-to-value.
Your profile
Qualification
Technical
- Completed degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related fields.
- 2–5 years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting, ideally in a SaaS or AI environment.
- Confident handling of AI/ML concepts, API architectures, data structures, and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, REST APIs, and cloud stacks (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an advantage.
- Experience with tools such as SAP, Salesforce, Quanos, Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and ChatGPT is helpful.
- Ability to communicate complex technical content in a convincing and understandable way—even to non-technical stakeholders.
