As Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for fulfilling inbound delivery performance and material availability for Evident EMEA with the objective to ensure reliable operations in supply chain and secure customer satisfaction.

Tasks

• Operational responsibility for PO creation and monitoring, as well as inbound logistics
• Operational execution and handling of purchase requisitions, order management and monitoring as well as warehouse interface handling
• Responsibility for operational performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Handle prioritization and acceleration requests in close alignment with supplier
• Ensure close and continuous communication and interface to suppliers as well as regional warehouse
• Support article registration with purchasing master data
• Ensure process improvements
• Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Successful commercial/procurement education or completed university studies in logistics, business administration or a related field of study
• First professional experience working in procurement area
• Possess strong self-reliance
• Proactive working style
• Good communication skills
• Experience and knowledge in the use of SAP R/3 / MM / PP
• Confident handling of MS Office programs
• Experience in an internationally operating company is preferred
• Knowledge of lean methods (e.g. KAIZEN) is preferable
• Advanced English skills, at least beginner knowledge in German
