Project Controlling & Compliance Specialist (gn)

Aufgaben

Your tasks

1. Expenditure-income control and ongoing project financial planning in collaboration with the project sub-team.
2. Management and monitoring of the finances of publicly and privately funded humanitarian and development projects. This includes: Preparation and review of project budgets, financial statements, and funding requirements
3. Preparation of budgets as well as financial interim and final reports for current and new projects
4. Ensuring compliance with donor guidelines (AA, BMZ, EU, UN organisations, private donors)
5. Support country offices and project partners in the financial management of projects and compliance with the donor guidelines
6. Preparation and support of audits as well as support in contract management

Anforderungen

Your profile

1. Completed training or comparable qualification (Bachelor) with a focus on finance or controlling
2. Experience in project accounting or use of project funds from public clients is an advantage
3. Knowledge of IT-based project management systems (e.B. SAP, MS Dynamcis 365)
4. Affinity for numbers and very good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
5. Very good English and French language skills & Spanish and German skills are an advantage
6. Structured and independent work
7. High level of intercultural competence and very good communication skills; experience abroad is an advantage
8. Team player, flexible, solution-oriented and strong communicator
