Our Commercial Modifications Team is currently looking for you in Hamburg, Germany as a Seat Integration Engineer (m/f/d).
About us:
In our commercial modifications team, we are proud to operate under our EASA Part21J Design Organization Approval; with a clear mission: to become the number one customer choice for aircraft retrofit solutions in the commercial aviation market. Our international team, with a strong presence in Munich and Hamburg, specializes in interior retrofit projects, ranging from halon fire extinguisher replacements to full cabin tube strips.
As we expand our operations in Germany, we are excited to grow our Seat Integration Team, focusing on unique seat certification and integration for all Boeing aircraft models. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional value and quality, making us the preferred provider of cabin modifications and maintenance.

In this role you will:
- Be responsible for the certification of aircraft seating products, with the Boeing Commercial Airplanes business unit, to produce STCs that allow for the post-delivery installation of new seating products
- Support experienced engineers in compilation of aircraft modification drawings and seat certification documentation
- Work closely with our Boeing Commercial Airplanes teams and other stakeholders to ensure the aircraft cabin is delivered in the correct condition and quality
- Be a technical focal for engineering and certification issues relating to integration of airplane seating post-production delivery

What you bring to the table:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology manufacturing engineering or a comparable degree
- 2+ years' experience in related commercial aircraft design fields, preferably in an EASA Part 21, Subpart J Design Organization
- Must demonstrate an understanding of seat certification process for (E)TSO approval and integration into aircraft
Additionally preferred skills:
- Experience: You will be a career starter, but you will demonstrate knowledge of the aircraft seating industry, the seat vendors and their products
- Knowledge: You can demonstrate that you can compile technical documentation to a standard that can be reviewed and approved by experienced DREs and CVEs
- Tools: You can demonstrate experiences using our most important tools: Catia V5 / V6, AutoCAD, myboeingfleet.com
- Personality: You are a principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct.
