Tasks:

• Design complex mechanical structures (tooling, special-purpose machines, platforms, lifting equipment, etc.)
• Creation of 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, welding drawings, cut lists, and functional and geometrical dimensioning.
• Utilize CATIA V5 modules (sheet metal, surface, drafting) at an expert level.
• Apply functional dimensioning and integrate standard mechanical components.
• Use strong mechanical knowledge (materials, alloys, welding, fastening, heat treatment, strength of materials).
• Work with measurement systems (metrology, laser)
• Analyze customer specifications and propose suitable or alternative design solutions.
• Participate in customer design reviews with a confident and professional presence.
• Review and evaluate external 3D concepts, technical documentation, and drawings.
• Independently prioritize tasks and respect the deadlines are met.

Your Profile:

• Diploma Degree: Mechanical Engineering / Product Design / Engineering Design
• Strong knowledge of special-purpose machines, assembly techniques, and standard commercial mechanical components.
• Experience in structural sizing and calculation is a plus.
• Knowledge of design and analysis rules in accordance with the Machinery Directive is also an advantage.
• Knowledge of civil engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in designing industrial mechanical equipment within the engineering sector.
• Comfortable working in collaborative project teams and facing challenges.
• Committed to delivering high-quality results and achieving objectives.
• Proficiency in technical and conversational English or German, French is a plus.
