Senior Payloads Design Engineer for Seat Integration (M/F/D)

In this role you will:

• Develop, integrate and document structural and interior ( payload s) system requirements to establish the system design.

• Perform, integrate analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

• Supervise supplier development, test and production activities and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and integration to achieve program goals.

• Develop new design /analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.

• Collaborate closely with Office of Airworthiness and regulatory authorities to ensure the aircraft cabin is delivered in the correct condition and quality.

What you bring to the table:

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (E lectrical, Avionics, Aerospace , Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering ) or higher degree in engineering

• 10 + years of experience in Aerospace industry , including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience

Additionally preferred skills:

• Experience: You have 5+ years of experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer ( CVE ) in an EASA Design Organization or as an engineering Unit Member (e-UM) in an FAA Design Organization with terms of approval relevant to interior ( payloads ) discipline .

• Knowledge: You can demonstrate experience with aircraft interior design/ modification programs with a high level of attention to detail. You have good knowledge of airworthiness requirements, e.g. CS /FAR 25, ETSO /TSO .

• Collaboration: You have 5+ years of experience in leading complex projects (development and execution of schedule milestones, financial assessments, resource assessments, risk and/or issues management, etc.) including influencing team members and stakeholders (suppliers, customers, solution providers) involved and are willing to help develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff .

• Tools: You can demonstrate expertise with navigating OEM data systems for specifications and standards and have worked with our most important tools: Catia V5 / V6, ENOVIA, IVT, AutoCAD.

• Personality: You are a principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct.
