As a

Senior Project Finance Manager (gn),

you will be responsible for structuring and placing complex project financings for wind, solar and storage projects, which are financed by non-recourse project financing (currently totalling almost EUR 2 billion). You will oversee international financing processes, negotiate with banks and financial institutions, and contribute to the strategic development of our portfolio. Working in a dynamic, innovative and international environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to make a significant contribution to the implementation of our ambitious growth plan.

Aufgaben

1. Structure and place international project financings independently
2. Negotiate with banks, financial institutions, and advisors for debt capital placement
3. Together with legal advisors, prepare and negotiate financing agreements (LMA standards)
4. Review and optimize project contracts (EPC, PPA, O&M) for bankability
5. Together with external advisors, conduct due diligence (mainly technical, legal, financial) and develop risk mitigation strategies
6. Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Legal, Tax, PPA Origination) and external partners
7. Manage and validate complex financial models; perform sensitivity analyses
8. Monitor capital market trends and develop innovative financing structures

Anforderungen

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in project financing, ideally in renewable energy
2. Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or similar
3. Strong analytical skills and experience in due diligence, risk assessment, and contract negotiation
4. Leadership experience with deal teams and mentoring junior talent
5. Excellent communication skills in English; German is advantageous
6. Willingness to travel and ability to work in international teams
