Service Engineer Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)

In this role you will be part of a team of experienced wind turbine service professionals who ensure that our colleagues in Service have the right tools and documentation in place for their work. You will handle multiple requests for wind turbine component exchanges and procedures, ensuring safety and practicability in the process.

YOUR TASKS

• Development of ad-hoc exchange concepts after turbine accidents
• Revision of existing and creation of new exchange documents, including the creation of the exchange process in CAD
• Technical support for the editor in the creation of the above-mentioned documentation
• Support in the creation of new tool specifications
• Technical support in the external development of exchange tools, with a focus on safety and practicability
• Field validation of new service tools and their documentation
• Ensuring replacement concepts in new turbine generations

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering or experience as a senior technician, supervisor or commissioner
• Prefereble several years of relevant professional experience in the wind energy and/or maintenance industry combined with sound technical knowledge
• Knowledge of CAD tools Creo 4 Parametric or NX CAD desirable
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Excellent ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision
• Ability to work at great heights
• Willingness to travel internationally
