About the role

As Software Developer MES you are the central contact person for the production IT. You are responsible for the support and further development of our IT system, which is highly relevant for production.

What you will do

• Development and realisation of customer-specific requirements and implementation of these in our Shop Floor Control System
• Maintenance and further development of the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to ensure and support the production process
• Analysis and implementation in close cooperation with other departments
• Development and implementation of interfaces to other systems, e.g. SECS/GEM interface for the automation of production plants

What you will need

• Master's degree in an IT relevant or similar technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development desirable
• Programming knowledge in the languages C, C++ and in the .net environment
• Experience in programming Linux and Windows
• Knowledge of programming OpenVMS with Pascal desirable
• Ability to quickly familiarise yourself with complex applications and interfaces
• High sense of responsibility and careful way of working
• Sound knowledge of technology
• Fluent in German and good knowledge of English
