Aufgabengebiet

• Take ownership of the refactoring and modularization of an existing Python test project (currently monolithic, executed with pytest).
• Extract and structure modules (e.g. SSH communication, UART, internal protocols, error logging).
• Ensure tests are parametrizable and reusable across multiple hardware platforms/devices.
• Improve the CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (stability, reporting, optional coverage & parallelization).
• Provide documentation and training for the development team to secure long-term maintainability.
• Work closely with embedded developers and architects in an international team setup.

Anforderungsprofil

• Strong background as Software Developer in Test / Test Automation Engineer with focus on Python.
• Hands-on expertise with pytest and modular test architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and test automation in complex environments.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and device communication (SSH, UART, internal protocols).
• Ability to work independently on architecture and refactoring tasks.
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English (German is a plus).

Vergütungspaket

• Start: October 1st
• Duration: Minimum 3 months, extension possible in 3-month cycles
