About this role
As Technical Documentation Writer you will be responsible for the creation, publication and maintenance of product information according to the product life cycle and the requirements made by Product Management.
What you will do
- Creation, review and publication of technical documentation (data sheets), graphical drawings and product information on the public website (www.nexperia.com) with respect to the product life cycle and milestones.
- Creation, review and publication of customer specific product information. Make sure that customer specific information is not published on the public website and is transferred directly to the dedicated customer in the agreed timeframe.
- Coordination, execution and control of data inputs; securing correct data sheet content according to controlled and approved final input and approved technical edits.
- Work according to quality standards and technical documentation guidelines.
- Creation and revision of technical illustrations used in the technical documentation (Adobe Illustrator CS4).
- Workload and capacity planning.
- Enter, maintain and consolidate data in Product Master Data repository (Eptos) and CMS (Alfresco). Create documents using oXygen and Adobe PDF
What you will need
- Apprenticeship in a technical, commercial, or linguistic profession
- Min. 3 years’ experience in technical documentation
- Good in understanding and using DITA-based single-source publishing redaction systems and data management systems
- Thoroughly, precise, organized and structured way of working
- Good technical writing skills, experienced in STE (Simplified Technical English)
- Business fluent in Englisch
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Very good coordinative and communicative skills
- Strong team player
- Ability to work with constantly changing priorities
