Role Overview:
The VP, Content & Digital Marketing will lead Evotec’s global content strategy and digital marketing initiatives to strengthen brand positioning, drive demand generation, and enable commercial growth. This role is responsible for creating compelling, science-driven narratives and leveraging digital channels to engage pharma, biotech, and academic partners. The VP will ensure alignment with Evotec’s commercial priorities and deliver measurable impact through data-driven campaigns and innovative digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Development
Define and execute a global content strategy that positions Evotec as a leader in drug discovery and development services.
Oversee creation of high-quality, science-based content (thought leadership, case studies, white papers, videos) tailored to target audiences.
Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels and alignment with Evotec’s brand guidelines.
Digital Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
Optimize Evotec’s digital ecosystem (website, social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM) for performance and user experience.
Introduce marketing automation and personalization strategies to enhance client engagement.
Analytics & Performance Management
Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Use data-driven insights to continuously improve content and digital strategies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Build and lead a high-performing global team of content creators, digital marketers, and external agencies.
Collaborate closely with Commercial, Business Development, and Scientific teams to ensure strategic alignment.
Innovation & Best Practices: Drive adoption of emerging digital trends (AI-driven content, interactive platforms, virtual events).
Champion digital transformation within marketing to support Evotec’s growth objectives.
Qualifications:
Degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Extensive experience in B2B marketing, including significant time in senior leadership roles.
Proven track record in content strategy and digital marketing within life sciences or CRO/CDMO industry.
Strong understanding of scientific concepts and ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives.
Expertise in digital platforms, marketing automation, SEO/SEM, and analytics tools.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
