Working Student (m/f/d) for Showroom and Lab Automation Development and Administration

Job Description:

The System Innovation Industrial & Medical team focuses on innovation projects with national and international partners from industry and academia. The team deals with diverse state of the art topics like Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, RISC-V, Secure communication (wired/wireless) networks etc. for industrial automation and healthcare use cases.

Tasks:

The results of our projects are showcased as system demonstrators that combine the latest technologies from NXP. Those demonstrators are developed in our innovation hub and later be exhibited in our technology showroom which is frequently visited by external customers, media and politicians. In this working student role you will optimize the operational aspects of the showroom and innovation hub. This includes:

• Development of automation systems for the showroom and innovation hub

• Administrative support for showroom and innovation hub management

• Maintenance of existing system demonstrators

• Technical support for new technology showcases

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master student in Engineering/Information Technology with technical hands-on experience and intention to work in this role for at least a year

• Practical experience with home automation systems

• Good Knowledge on programming languages e.g. Python, C/C++

• Good knowledge on Linux, Windows and PC tools

• Knowledge on Power-Automate and web based UI development is a plus

• Creative and innovative mindset, good team player, pro-active and able to work independently

• Option to extend the contract or conversion into thesis/internship topics can be discussed
