In order to support the System Physical Integration of the next Generation Aircraft, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Working Student within System Physical Integration (d/f/m)

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Finkenwerder

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Contribute to the 3D mock-up and MBSE for System Physical Integration of a next Generation Aircraft
• Assessing length and weight of the overall Aircraft system installation
• Technical Support: you will have the opportunity to contribute to R&T projects

Desired skills and qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field to Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Systems)
• Fluent level in English is a must. Fluent level in German would also be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in engineering.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to details.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic corporate and multicultural environment.
• Experience with 3D Mock up (CATIA or 3DX), MBSE (CAMEO or equivalent) and Google suite (Sheet scripts) would be a plus
