Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, part-time basis (19 HPW) for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Accountant Obligatory Reinsurance Business.
You can look forward to
- Processing statements of account and technical scrutiny
- Processing losses in obligatory inward business from France, the Benelux countries and Greece
- Quarterly closing activities
- Processing incoming and outgoing payments
- Correspondence and reconciliation with internal interfaces and external customers
- Electronic archiving of documents
- Participation in working groups and projects with a focus on digitisation
You come equipped with
- Initial experience in accounting (e.g. from the areas of insurance, banking, taxes)
- Degree in business administration or commercial training
- Knowledge of reinsurance treaty types and forms is an advantage
- Curious to get to know various IT landscapes
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- SAP skills are an advantage
- Independent user skills in German and English, knowledge of French desirable
- Very good numerical reasoning and analytical mindset as well as an independent and self-reliant style of working
- An assured and service-minded approach to internal and external customers
