We are looking for you as a DevOps Engineer Platform Services for our Hanover location as soon as possible.

• Automation of IT processes (continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation) and execution of independent administration and configuration activities
• Evaluation of new technologies and continuous training
• Independent development of managed services to simplify development and operational processes
• Technical and technological advice to product owners and software engineering teams on product and project requirements
• Planning and development of micro service architectures
• Documentation of work results and systems in ticketing and knowledge platforms

• Successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable subject or IT training with relevant professional experience in a comparable position
• Professional experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, ideally initial experience with RedHat Openshift and Istio
• Experience with logging (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager)
• Basic understanding of DevOps principles and interest in their implementation in practice
• Basic knowledge of Java, microservices architectures, and API design (REST, messaging)
• Analytical and service-oriented approach
