Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting, Digital Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Reinsurance Accountant Digitisation. In Digital Accounting, we actively shape the future of reinsurance accounting. Our team combines professional expertise with a spirit of exploration for new technologies and new ways of working – from automation and AI to the rollout of new platforms. We guide processes, set direction, and support the selection and implementation of suitable solutions.
You can look forward to
- You analyse existing processes in accounting and collaborate with colleagues to develop future-proof, digital solutions
- You actively contribute to the advancement and implementation of automation and digitalisation initiatives
- You support the development of an international network aimed at empowering accountants worldwide in the use of new tools and processes
- You accompany change processes within the team and assist colleagues with the introduction of new technologies
- You work closely with internal interfaces and external clients – from coordination to solution development
- You contribute to projects and working groups focused on innovation, efficiency, and collaboration
- You oversee selected SAP functionalities within the accounting context and support colleagues as a key user or process contact
You come equipped with
- Several years of experience in accounting (e.g. in insurance, banking, or taxation) and in qualified bookkeeping
- A degree in Business Administration or a commercial qualification in insurance, banking, or taxation
- Good knowledge of types and structures of reinsurance contracts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- SAP knowledge
- Experience or interest in building an international network to empower colleagues in accounting worldwide in using new tools and processes
- Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Independent and responsible working style
- Confident and service-oriented approach when dealing with internal and external clients
