Your responsibilities
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager to foster our organization’s threat intelligence initiatives. This role is critical in guiding proactive cybersecurity defense activities, developing resilience strategies, and fostering collaboration across technical, management, and executive teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong vision for threat intelligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex security matters into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Manage Cyber Threat Intelligence operations and continuous improvement across strategic, tactical, and operational levels to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks.
- Design and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity resilience strategy roadmap aligned with business priorities, enhancing the organization’s maturity and preparedness.
- Lead and facilitate cybersecurity simulations and exercises tailored for technical teams, management, and executive leaders to test response readiness and improve resilience.
- Communicate and explain complex technical security issues clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and risk appetite.
- Produce timely, insightful reports on threat hunting activities, findings, and strategic recommendations for internal and external audiences.
- Facilitate feedback loops within the organization to refine threat intelligence priorities, improve service delivery, and align with evolving organizational needs.
- Cultivate and maintain external partnerships with cybersecurity forums, CERTs (e.g., BSI, NCSC), vendors, and industry peers to share intelligence, insights, and collaborative defense strategies.
- Have experience on interpreting and refining external Threat Intel feeds and reports aiming at high confidence information and IoCs.
- Stay well-informed on emerging threats, industry developments, and regulatory changes to proactively enhance threat detection and defense strategies.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in information security, cyber defense operations, or incident response, with a strong technical background.
- In-depth understanding of cyber threats, threat actors, and common attack techniques.
- Experience with Threat Intelligence and integrations (e.g. MISP, Mandiant, or any other TIM plataform).
- Proficiency in threat intelligence frameworks and tools, such as MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND, and familiarity with EU security-related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically to identify patterns and trends in threat data.
- Ability to build relationships within the organization, with IT, and business partners to coordinate activities and facilitate professional communication.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GDAT, eCTHP, OSCP, CISSP) are a plus.
