Your role in our team:

• Responsibility within the global commodity Hydraulics for one (or several) global subcommodity purchasing portfolio for:
• the full life cycle of the products (project, serial, after sales)
• the different CLAAS plants (Germany and abroad)
• Definition and management of the subcommodity purchasing strategy, in connection with internal stakeholders in CLAAS group
• Daily cross functional collaboration
• Professional preparation and independent implementation of purchasing negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract, including drafting of development and framework supply contracts
• Supporting the achievement of C-Q-D (Cost-Quality-Delivery) goals in development projects through the early integration of high-performance suppliers
• Follow up and steering of suppliers performance
• Observation and analysis of the global procurement market and the derivation of potential as well as cost reduction measures in collaboration with the internal company interfaces

Your profile:

• Completed studies, preferably in the field of business administration/industrial engineering
• Professional experience in strategic purchasing as well as in-depth knowledge of contract law
• Skills and experience in project management, as well as a high technical affinity for the field of Hydraulics technology, would be highly appreciated
• Experience in negotiations
• Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible and efficient way of working
• Act confidently at internal and external management levels
• Experience in working together in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment
• Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as business fluent English skills
• Confident use of MS Office and SAP
• Willingness to travel
