What awaits you?
Your training content
The training program consists of six semesters and begins on October 1st of each year. Theoretical study phases at the Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Mannheim and practical training phases at the Rhein-Neckar District's own construction, property, and information technology company in Heidelberg alternate regularly.
The practical training at the Construction, Property and Information Technology Company will primarily take place in the Information Technology division. Short training periods are expected to take place in the IT department of GRN Gesundheitszentren Rhein-Neckar gGmbH.
During your practical training, you will learn about the extensive and diverse tasks of IT in a government agency. The training content includes knowledge in the areas of hardware and software (client and server), software development, IT service and helpdesk, data protection, data backup, IT security, networking (LAN and WAN), SAP, databases, project work, network security, IT law, and much more.

- Abitur or university of applied sciences entrance qualification
- Good knowledge of mathematics and technical understanding
- Good knowledge of English
