Cloud Software Engineer & Architect (m/f/d)

 

MORE THAN A JOB - THAT'S WAI­TING FOR YOU:

 

• In this role, you will be responsible for the conception and development of new cloud products in the B4B Solutions portfolio as well as within the scope of customer projects. The products are extensions of existing SAP cloud systems or integrations into third-party systems.
• The products and apps you design are characterized by a strong wiring with the business processes of our customers. As part of the design process, you will not only impress with your technical understanding and analytical skills, but also with a broad knowledge of technical, logistical and operational business processes.
• You are part of our project team for customer projects and responsible for the area of customer-specific enhancements/developments of SAP Cloud systems as well as for the integration of third-party systems and implement these together with our development team.
• When building the architecture, you take into account the existing business functionality of the SAP cloud systems and move within SAP's technical framework, which includes an object-oriented scripting language similar to Java and C#.
• In the area of integration, you will work with our customers to develop an individual integration concept that connects the SAP cloud systems with the existing IT system landscape. In doing so, you use the HANA Cloud Integration and make use of technologies such as SOAP and REST services.
• You will take on technical responsibility and communication in projects and, if necessary, hold workshops independently as part of projects.

YOUR PASSION – WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

 

• You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new business topics and implementing your concepts with the given tools.
• You have a bachelor's degree or higher with a focus on business informatics or a comparable degree.
• Understanding and application of object-oriented programming as well as SOAP services are among your strengths.
• You are a personality with a confident appearance and your strengths include strong analytical and communication skills, an independent and structured way of working, creativity and resilience.
• You feel comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams and want to contribute to projects in a customer-oriented and goal-oriented way.
• You have experience with web technologies related to business software, such as HTML5 or SAP UI5, REST services, OData, etc.
• Basic database knowledge is required.
• Professional experience especially in the area of integration of different systems (not necessarily SAP systems) is an advantage.
