Are you seeking an exciting and challenging role in an international work environment? Look no further!
We’re recruiting an experienced Global Product Owner Workday Security (f/m/d) to join our engaged Workday team in the Group Human Resources department. The position is based at our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany, and reports to the position Manager Workday.
In this position you will play a key role in safeguarding and driving the evolution of our Workday Security model while collaborating with all functional and technical Workday Product Owners in the team. The global responsibility offers a unique chance to lead strategic initiatives, collaborate across borders, and leave a lasting impact on our HR digital transformation.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
System Ownership & Optimization
Configure, maintain, and advise on security with the globally deployed Workday system
Own and continuously improve the global Workday Security framework (incl. domain security policies, security groups/roles and role assignments)
Ensure system documentation is up-to-date and accessible
Support local country teams with troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Strategic Roadmap & Innovation
Deliver on the 2025 roadmap and beyond, helping to shape future enhancements in alignment with the global HR strategy
Stay ahead of the curve by continuously upskilling in Workday – exploring new features, participating in trainings, engaging with the Workday Community, and benchmarking with other Workday customers
Be up-to-date on new released security features from Workday, testing and implement where possible
Access Management & Reporting
Develop a strong understanding of Workday’s user rights framework and apply it effectively to ensure every Workday user can see and do exactly what they are supposed to
Work closely with reporting and functional experts to analyze needs and define the best approach for enabling the right data visibility for the right target group
Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
Global Collaboration & Enablement
Act as a trusted advisor to key users in countries, ensure that they stay trained and compliant
Champion user adoption by establishing a flexible, compliant Workday Security model while best supporting the business and user needs
Engage with different stakeholders from HR, IT and other key functions (e.g. Compliance)
YOUR PROFILE
University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience with HR systems – ideally Workday – or with other enterprise platforms
Familiarity with system access management and data maintenance – preferably in Workday – with a solid understanding of security features and controls
Initial experience in IT, HR or consulting
Experience with HR systems – ideally Workday – or experience with enterprise platforms
Exposure to agile project management tools like JIRA is beneficial
Strong analytical and process management mindset with attention to detail and quality
Excellent English skills (team language); German or other languages are a plus
