Key responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent global divisions in the country to drive sales and market growth. Each day, you will oversee sales and marketing activities and support Sales organizations in driving sales and services for all products of low voltage distribution enclosers, meter boards and consumer units as well as DIN Rail products like MCBs, RCDs, SPDs, AFDDs including the related accessories, energy management, metering and other modular Din Rail Devices. You will also showcase your expertise by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy.
This role is contributing to the Business Line Energy distribution in Germany. Main departments to work with are the global product management, local sales and local marketing / communication.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
- Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
- Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
- Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.
Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy working with colleagues in different countries with different cultural behavior to provide the best fitting solutions for the German market.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in low voltage electrical installations. You have several years of experience in electrical engineering, electrical installation or similar technical working profile.
- You are qualified in personnel management.
- You are at ease communicating in German and English language.
