A new development team is currently being set up at the Heilbronn site with the aim of realising intelligent components for next-generation humanoid robots.

A new team is being set up for this purpose and you can strengthen it as Development Engineer Electronics (gn) for Robotics

What you will do:

• Development of the electronics architecture for an innovative component in the field of humanoid robotics
• Selection, integration and performance optimisation of electromechanical microdrives
• Design of motion control solutions as well as design and implementation of suitable drive controls
• Creation of electrical circuit diagrams, specifications and technical documentation
• Close collaboration with mechanical, software and sensor specialists as part of an interdisciplinary development team

What you bring with you:

• Successfully completed suitable studies (robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology)
• Proven experience in humanoid robotics
• At least 2 years of professional experience (outside of studies or training) in the field of drive technology, electronics design and motion control - ideally related to robotics
• Sound knowledge of the control and regulation of micromotors
• Ideally initial contact with embedded systems and power electronics
• Very good written and spoken English; expandable knowledge of German
