Position Description

We’re looking for a proactiveInternal IT Auditor to join our team and help us strengthen our audit processes and IT controls. In this role, you will...

• Take part in the planning and execution of ISO 27001 certification audits, including IT audits
• Support the continuous improvement of process documentation and ensure high-quality audit execution
• Act as a connector between IT/OT departments and business functions during audit engagements
• Collaborate closely with your team to identify security risks, process gaps, and control weaknesses
• Develop actionable recommendations that improve our security posture and internal controls

This position can be filled in Hilden (Germany) or Wroclaw (Poland).

Position Requirements

• University degree in Information Security, IT Risk Management, (Business) Informatics, or a similar field
• First professional experiences in conducting internal or external IT/ISO 27001 audits
• Solid understanding of GDPR, NIST, and relevant IT security frameworks
• Certification as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (e.g., IRCA, PECB) is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with fluency in English
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to QIAGEN locations worldwide
