Senior Digital Design Engineer (m/f/d)

• Design, implementation and verification of complex digital designs targeting high end FPGA devices
• Integrate algorithms for digital signal processing (DSP) in close collaboration with our DSP and product teams, in particular for high data rate satellite communication
• Verification of functionality and validation in device context under usage of external stimulation and test scripting
• Act as driven engineer willing and able to tackle complex technical issues using expertise and ingenuity
• Working with a team appreciating creativity, gathering experiences and getting the job done
• Responsibility for own design blocks within important projects
• Responsibility for the technical team goals: on quality, on time, performance, maintainability and scalability

• Enthusiasm for new technologies in the field of high-speed data and signal processing
• 5+ years proven work experience in digital designs on FPGAs within an industrial context, preferred in telecommunication context
• Expert knowledge in at least one hardware definition language (VHDL or Verilog)
• Very good knowledge of up-to-date FPGA technologies (Xilinx or others)
• Experience with HW/SW Co-Design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English or German
• Experience in efficient implementation of high throughput signal processing design
• Practical knowledge in the implementation of complex algorithms in digital signal processing (e.g. FEC decoders, digital filters, ...) would be a plus
