Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Independently lead the SPR sub-team within the biophysical characterization lab
• Represent the SPR and BLI technology in line function and matrix meetings
• Coordinate SPR and BLI analytics in accordance with project needs
• Develop, optimize and qualify SPR methods for functional characterization of biosimilars, especially target and receptor binding assays
• Prepare development reports and SOPs, coordinate method transfers
• Present analytical results, interpret and discuss them with project experts
• Support project-specific matrix teams in development of analytical strategies and in preparation of high-quality, registration documents

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

• Master’s degree in relevant natural science such as molecular and cell biology, biochemistry or biotechnology
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical industry
• Proven expert in SPR and/or BLI technology
• 6 years of hands-on experience in protein binding analytics with BLI or SPR is a must.
• Work and documentation experience under GxP conditions is beneficial
• Familiarity with common data analysis software packages like SigmaPlot or Origin is a plus.
• Fluency in oral and written English and German is necessary
