Your role

As Project Cost Controller EAME (m/f/d) you will be part of our Regional Finance Controlling Department for the EAME countries. This requisition is a fulltime position to be located in our Global Headquarter in Holzminden. You will bring an expert role ensuring projects are carried out within allocated budget and timeline and more specifically:

• You monitor and control large Capex projects in Germany ensuring the right tracking of spendings, costs forecasting, full compliance.
• You take ownership of cost projections for the project and provide financial guidance to the project team.
• You work with Project Managers and Procurement to align project deliverables as well as with the Finance Operations for CapEx recognition as per IFRS.
• You review new vendor financial standing to ascertain its overall financial position (vendor vetting) and participate in tendering process for major bids.
• You sign off invoices to be processed by Finance as per agreed milestones/ PO conditions, including Prepayment.
• You assist in the process of project cost capitalisation and project closure.
• You provide cash flow forecasting for Treasury planning and look after insurance and risk coverage for the project.
• You ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards and flag any compliance topic and connect with Corperate Controlling and Regional Finance.

About you

• You successfully completed your University Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a similar field.
• You have 5 to 10 years of experience in project management in finance or controlling.
• You have experience working in SAP especially for budget control and invoicing.
• You are agile and bold, open minded, detail-oriented and project driven.
• You are at ease with team work and transparent communication.
• You are fluent in both verbal and written German and English.

Your role
