• Pioneer p5G for OT: Develop cutting-edge wireless communication solutions based on private 5G (p5G) and wired/wireless convergence for Operational Technology (OT) environments.

• Innovate and Incubate: Conduct technology feasibility studies and create technology proofs-of-concept with tangible results for internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate and Co-Innovate: Engage with key customers and partners to co-innovate and co-create new technology solutions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams in a global organization to drive innovation.

• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Observe international wireless standardization, such as at 3GPP and IETF, and stay updated on the competitive landscape.

• Be a Thought Leader: Position Belden as a technology leader by speaking at conferences, writing articles, and creating blogs and vlogs.

Your profile

• Educational Background: Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; specialization in radio frequency, information or communication technology preferred

• Professional Experience: 5 or more years of professional experience in system architecture, product development, or applied research.

• Proven Expertise: Strong practical and theoretical end-to-end understanding of mobile communication networks and wireless LAN based systems; telecom network operator experience a plus.

• Domain Knowledge: Knowledge in operational technologies and mission-critical networks preferred.

• Innovative Mindset: Motivation to push the boundaries of the status quo.

• Open Innovation Experience: Practical experience in selection, establishment, and management of partnerships with subcontractors and other external partners.

• Curiosity and Passion: High interest in new technologies and curiosity to explore unpaved roads.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at different levels, from R&D teams to senior executives.

• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English; other languages are a bonus.

• Travel Willingness: Openness to travel (<25%).
