Intro
Previse Systems, established in 2019, set out to bring fresh thinking and modern technology to the world of energy trading and risk management (ETRM).
What started as a bold vision by a group of industry experts has grown into a success story — trusted by leading energy companies and recognised for innovation, reliability, and impact.
Our cloud-based SaaS ETRM software combines modern architecture, scalability, and flexibility to help our customers manage their trading operations more efficiently and intelligently.
We continue to challenge the status quo, think differently, and have fun doing it.
Tasks
About the Role
In the role of the Product Delivery Program Manager, you will be working as part of a diverse team to define the product delivery roadmap and manage the execution of the same across implementation teams. Currently, Previse Systems operates with seven “product delivery teams” which combine product owners, developers and responsible testers (QA). This includes owning product delivery planning and management processes and optimising them as the product and organisation mature. The functional ownership of deliverables, also across teams, remains with product owners.
The Product Delivery Program Manager prioritises roadmap items with the roadmap planning committee, coordinates with cross-functional owners, and then plans the implementation schedule with the team leads based on priorities and team capacity.
The role works closely with multiple roles and functions: Sales and product management on the planning side, functional and technical team leads on the implementation side, as well as with release management for delivery of the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product discovery process and tool.
- Define and set priorities on product discovery items (“ideas”) in collaboration with the roadmap planning committee.
- Appoint cross-functional owners for ideas in collaboration with the chief technology officer and the chief product officer.
- Ensure ideas are kept up to date by the cross-functional idea owners.
- Estimate idea implementation efforts with the functional- and technical team leads.
- Plan ideas for implementation and assign them to product releases based on priority, estimated effort and team capacity.
- Track the implementation progress with the functional- and technical team leads
- Manage risks and resolve challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules.
- Report implementation status to the release management, executive management and to customers.
- Manage dependencies across interrelated processes.
- Hand over release content to the release management once a release passed the “build” quality gate.
- Own and ensure continuous process improvement: Think out of the box, contribute new ideas as well as challenge views and opinions by proposing better alternatives!
