To strengthen our team in Hügelsheim , we are looking for a dedicated Material Master Data Manager (m/f/d) who will be responsible for maintaining material master data, ensuring its data quality and continuously optimizing processes in close cooperation with international teams.

Your tasks:

• Independent creation, maintenance and further development of material master data for various material groups in the SAP system and in additional databases
• Verification and comparison of material data (target/actual comparisons)
• Monitor and ensure data quality in the SAP system
• Support within the change management process in correcting incorrect material master data
• Definition and continuous development of internal SAP material master data standards
• Develop and implement strategies and processes in the area of ​​material master data in close coordination with specialist departments and taking group-wide specifications into account
• Collaboration with specialist departments to identify and implement process improvements in the area of ​​material master data
• Supporting project teams in new product development with regard to the timely creation of relevant material master data
• Participation in the introduction of new systems or interfaces in the area of ​​material master data management
• Close collaboration with the Global Master Data Governance Team at the international headquarters in Basel
• Creation of training materials and work instructions for the correct maintenance of material master data
• Promoting a positive and cooperative working environment within project teams

Your profile:

• Successfully completed commercial or IT-related training with further training in data management or a completed degree, e.g., in business informatics, industrial engineering, information management, business administration or a comparable course of study
• Initial practical experience in the field of Material Data Management is required
• Knowledge of a highly regulated environment and a good understanding of regulatory requirements
• Experience in the dental field is an advantage
• Experienced in using SAP, ideally in the SD and MM modules
• Very good knowledge of database structures
• Cross-departmental process understanding and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working with a high affinity for data
• Result- and goal-oriented working methods for the successful implementation of specifications as well as the ability to independently familiarise oneself with complex issues
• Teamwork and communication skills to promote a positive working environment
• Fluent written and spoken German and English (C1 level) for international cooperation
