As the New Force in New Space, we focus on developing cybertronic actuators and precision motion systems engineered to perform reliably under the extreme conditions of space. Our products are developed in close collaboration with our strategic partner WITTENSTEIN, to bring high-quality, dependable industrial technologies into orbit.

Job description / Your role:
- Take full ownership for the mechanical and thermal design of LEOspace products
- Supervise and coordinate all related engineering activities, including mechanical design, structural analysis, thermal design, and thermal analysis
- Lead and support the mechanical and thermal testing and qualification of space hardware
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design descriptions, development schedules, and test definitions
- Conduct preliminary assessments of mechanical and thermal robustness within an agile development framework
- Support system-level testing and qualification processes
- Contribute to our Simultaneous Engineering approach by collaborating with industrial process engineering teams to scale the production of mechanical and thermal systems

- Experience in the space industry, with a focus on mechanical and thermal system design
- Demonstrated expertise in mechanical and/or thermal analysis, with knowledge of industry best practices
- Familiarity with material and process selection for space applications
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)

- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
- Practical experience with numerical engineering tools for mechanical and thermal analysis in space systems
- Initial experience in leadership or project coordination roles
