Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an
Intern in Configuration and Change Management of Space Projects (satellites, instruments, equipment) (d/f/m)
You are enrolled in an engineering or project management related study, looking for an internship position and want to get to know the work of a Configuration Manager (d/f/m)?
Our department provide services to a multitude of cutting-edge space projects including product data management, change management and support to verification and validation. We are an enabler for all disciplines within a project, especially system engineering responsible to ensure consistency between product definition, development and manufacturing. We are managing a large number of stakeholders and operate in a complex international environment.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Support space project teams:
- Work in Product Data management (PDM, Windchill). 
- Manage data and documents 
- Work in other tools (MS Office, Python, etc.) 
Support Configuration and Documentation Management:
- Maintain and update configuration documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 
- Support to data package reception and archiving, as well as preparation and delivery 
- Check and support in the PDM Tool 
- Contribute to improvements of process, methods and tools including implementation of new technologies (AI, etc.) 
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student in the area of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent field of study, but also Project Management Office. 
- First practical experience in the field of Microsoft Office and/or data management is desirable. 
- First experience with database systems (Windchill, JIRA, Doors… or comparable) is desirable 
- Python programming and Data Science/AI knowledge will be very much appreciated. 
- Fluent in English. Fluent in German highly appreciated.
