Your Tasks

• Leading and managing a team consisting of Demand and Supply Planners, both disciplinarily and professionally (reporting to the Head of Sales & Operations Planning)
• Implementing departmental and divisional objectives
• Leading and overseeing the daily, weekly, and monthly Demand & Supply Planning processes for the product categories Telecom, Photo, and Accessories
• Close collaboration with the Category Buying, Campaign Management, Sales, and Supply Chain departments to improve process efficiency and achieve company objectives
• Regular analysis of sales and supply chain data and adjustment of strategies based on business and market developments
• Ensuring high product availability while optimizing inventories for the responsible product categories
• Developing and implementing efficient demand forecasting and inventory strategies
• Participating in the development and implementation of strategic projects and plans to improve supply chain efficiency

Your Profile

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification
• Leadership personality with the ability to communicate at all levels, influence relationships, and build them effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• several years of professional experience in a similar position in the field of Demand & Supply Planning
• Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems and Demand & Supply Planning systems
• Excellent knowledge of sales planning, supply planning, and inventory management, including related IT systems
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools, and BPM solutions
• Fluent in German and English

About Us

"Sales and Operations Planning" as part of the Commercial division of Media-Saturn Deutschland GmbH, manages the Demand & Supply Planning process, including capacity planning for our logistics networks. The Sales & Operations Planning team is responsible for the supply of goods to all of our 401 stores and both webshops. In doing so, we work closely with Category Management, Campaign Management, Sales, Supply Chain Management, and suppliers to improve end-to-end supply chain planning. Our goal is to manage the Demand & Supply Planning processes in such a way that product availability in stores and online for our customers is maximized while at the same time optimizing inventory levels.
