Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung von Algorithmen zur Identifizierung von Fehlanpassungen in Vertragsdokumenten. Dies umfasst die Nutzung von LLMs zur genauen Erkennung von Lücken in der deontischen Logik sowie die Erstellung von Evaluationsmetriken.
• Entwurf und Implementierung eines Frameworks zur Generierung rechtlich geprüfter Anpassungen unter Verwendung von Wissensgraphen und Retrieval Augmented Generation.
• Gemeinsam mit unserem Partner Thyssen Krupp richten Sie einen Public-Cloud-Tenant ein, entwickeln einen Prototyp, nehmen an nationalen und internationalen Konferenzen teil und unterstützen bei weiteren Förderanträgen.
• Unterstützung der Forschungs- und Lehrtätigkeiten des Lehrstuhls.

Dein Profil

• Masterabschluss in Informatik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet mit überdurchschnittlichem Studienerfolg.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Natural Language Processing, Cloud-Infrastrukturen, Statistik und Machine Learning sowie Programmierkenntnisse in Python.
• Vertieftes Wissen über Funktionsprinzipien von Generativer KI und Retrieval Augmented Generation.
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse und wünschenswerte gute Deutschkenntnisse, ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit sowie gute organisatorische Fähigkeiten.
• Die Absicht, eine Promotion anzustreben, ist von Vorteil.

Your tasks

• Develop algorithms for identifying misalignments in contractual documents. This includes leveraging LLMs to accurately detect gaps in deontic logic and creating evaluation metrics
• Design and implement a framework for generating legally vetted adjustments using Knowledge Graphs and Retrieval Augmented Generation
• Together with our partner Thyssen Krupp you will setup a public cloud tenant, build a prototype, participate in national and international conferences, and support with further grant applications
• You will support the professorship's research and teaching activities

Your profile

• Master's degree in computer science or a related field with an above-average academic record
• Strong background in Natural Language Processing, Cloud Infrastructures, Statistics and Machine Learning with programming skills in Python
• Advanced knowledge of operating principles of Generative AI and Retrieval Augmented Generation
• Excellent command of English and good German language skills desirable, strong communication and teamwork, and good organizational skills
• Intention to pursue a PhD is preferred
