Head of IT Operations (m/w/x)
Tasks:
- Provide strategic leadership for the IT Operations sub-department
- Foster global collaboration and ensure efficient resource utilization by coaching and supporting the sub-department and its employees in roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution
- Ensure appropriate team capacity, skills, and experience while supporting the local management with input for performance reviews and development plans from a professional and strategic point of view
- Develop and assist high-performing teams through strategic mentoring and coaching
- Lead the IT Operations sub-department with strategic vision and direction
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and implement strategic roadmaps, driving innovation, and strategy through best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends
- Develop and implement team policies and procedures, while contributing to budget planning and ensuring alignment of change initiatives with both business goals and the departmental strategy
- Ensure IT security, compliance, and reliability through the whole organization
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with a strong focus on servant leadership, team empowerment, and professional expertise
- Strong understanding of IT operations, industry best practices, and the technical fundamentals needed to effectively lead expert teams
- Strong mentoring skills and commitment to team development and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment, including remote teams
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide teams through complex challenges
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration across departments and with external partners
- Fluent English language skills both written and spoken
