As a Working student in Power Electronics, you will play a key role in advancing high-performance energy systems by conducting precise measurements and simulations. Are you passionate about electronics and power modules? The R&D department of Semikron Danfoss in Ismaning (north of Munich) is looking for a motivated Working student to enhance the capabilities of our laboratory infrastructure for power electronics development.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform characteristic measurements of power electronic devices
• Data processing and evaluation of measurements
• Collaborate with our team of renowned experts to ensure seamless integration and functionality of development
• Document your process and results for future reference and team knowledge sharing
• Develop tests that help investigate physical behaviors in electronic components and circuits
• Document and describe the data and findings comprehensively
• Simulation of devices and system performance using Simulink or similar tools

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• First hands-on experience using laboratory instruments; knowledge of Oscilloscopes and Probing is beneficial
• Basic knowledge of high-power electronic devices and SiC technology is advantageous
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
