Description

This role is responsible for planning and forecasting demand for spare parts, managing monthly forecasts and safety stock levels to ensure optimal inventory and deliver exceptional parts availability.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work on planning and forecasting cycle for assigned spare parts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and high product availability

• Analyze and continuously refine demand forecasts by integrating cross-functional inputs; determine appropriate safety stock levels for the Distribution Center

• Ensure accurate system setup and maintenance for all assigned part numbers

• Proactively monitor and address problematic parts, detect non-available items and implement effective corrective actions

• Manage and incorporate specific functional inputs into the demand planning process to enhance forecast accuracy

• Support and participate in projects related to demand planning and parts availability improvement

• Collaborate closely with Inventory and FSL teams to support and enhance local forecasting efforts

• Support maintenance of KPIs and report development

• Support process automation

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or a related field

• Experience in demand planning and inventory management preferred

• Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work

• Proficiency in Oracle, Tableau; SQL is a plus

• Programming languages (R and/or Python) are an advantage

• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus
