The Senior Manager – Service Project Management (m/f/d) plays a pivotal role in driving the transformation of the Services organization. This role not only leads complex service-related improvement projects and fosters a culture of Continuous Improvement (=CI), but also supports the setup and delivery of broader transformation programs, establishes and standardizes project governance and reporting structures, and ensures transparency and alignment across all service projects. The role collaborates closely with various Jenbacher functions to ensure a unified project approach for all Services initiatives, and acts as a key enabler for operational excellence, enhanced customer satisfaction, and optimized service processes.

Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple, large-scale service improvement and CI projects from initiation to completion, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
- Drive the setup and delivery of wider transformation programs, including program structure, governance, and resource alignment
- Develop and implement project management approaches in collaboration with Digital/IT and other key functions, including developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including the wider Services organization, Global Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Digital/IT
- Establish and maintain standardized project governance, reporting structures, and transparency across all service projects
- Communicate project status, milestones, and results to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement best practices to improve service delivery
- Drive change management and ensure adoption of new processes and tools
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Lead a team of Service Project Managers & Specialists with a focus of building a high-performing PMO team
- Mentor and coach CI practitioners and project managers in various CI and project management methodologies
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance project management and CI capabilities across the organization
- Act as a subject matter expert for CI tools, methodologies, and best practices, including facilitating workshops, kaizen events, and problem-solving sessions
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven multi-year experience in program/multi-project management and continuous improvement, preferably in industrial service environments or consulting experience
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and coaching project teams and CI practitioners
- Strong knowledge of Process Improvement & Project Management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, Agile/Scrum, etc.) and change management practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong continuous improvement and process optimization mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels
- Business fluent in German & English (verbally & written)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.673,74 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
