Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.
The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.
Your core responsibilities are:
- Performing structural simulations on component and system level e.g. durability, crash and static analysis
- Taking an active role in developing battery system concepts in a cross functional team, from acquisition to series development
- Improvement and development of simulation methods
- Support on system test and measurement data analysis
- Internal and external presentation of results
What you need is:
- Completed technical education (preferably studies in mechanical or automotive engineering, physics)
- Several years of experience in simulation of battery systems is desirable
- Professional knowledge of FEM relevant programs – preferably LS-Dyna, Ansa, FemFat/FemSite (fatigue)
- Expert Competence in implicit and explicit simulation methods
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Systematic approach, high level of commitment and responsibility
Our offer for you:
With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 55.000.–
We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
