About the Role

As an integral part of CG Europe, the Change Request Management Team will drive business activities and processes enabling an effective and efficient operation of Change Request management. The position owner leads a team of direct Change Request Managers, being responsible for the execution of Change Request Management across CAM’s for CG EU related projects.

Your Team

This position will lead a team of about 8-15 members of Change Request Management experts across CG EU.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Change Request Management team for CG EU, mainly based in Romania and Germany.
  • Participate in and actively drive global Change Request Management process alignment: Analyze existing processes, identify improvement and standardization opportunities, and drive implementation for Europe.
  • Own and drive together with the team end2end CRM process from incoming CRM to successful financial closure and implementation.
  • Develop and implement Change Request Management strategy, apply best practice and ensure adoption across CAMs for CG EU and collaborate across the regions.
  • Lead day-to-day operational support for all OEM projects regarding Change Request Management, balance the workload across the team and assign priorities.
  • Closely collaborate and act as a sparring partner for all relevant stakeholders, such as e.g. Program Manager, SW Project Leader, Domain Leads, System- and Software architects, Controlling, Account Managers, Functional Safety Manager and customers.
  • Primary point of contact for program management & OEM customer for Europe in terms of reporting incl. customer tooling interface limited to Change Request Management
  • Responsible for development processes to be introduced and tailored within European projects in close cooperation with EPG, CG EU Business Operations, and interfaces towards SBU.
  • Ensuring audit and compliance readiness based on defined standards (e.g. BMS, ASpice, IATF, VDA)
  • Act like as a role model upon our Automotive Super Powers and execute the HR cycle activities including hiring, performance management, succession planning, coaching and team training and development.

What You Need

  • Bachelor Degree in engineering, business management or comparable
  • Track record as a successful team and project manager
  • Fundamental knowledge in terms of PLM methodologies, PM processes in project execution and project management especially of software development processes
  • Knowledge of Change Request Management, Commercial Management
  • Defining individual aims corresponding to general and program strategy
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Project management or equal experience 10 years in Automotive R&D
  • Leadership and management competencies
  • Excellent English and German communication and presentation skills.
  • Broad intercultural experience and communication skills.
  • Commitment to operational excellence.
