Key Responsibilities:
Conduct studies and analyze data to define medical product requirements and develop design & process concepts within interdisciplinary teams (e.g., using the Stanford Biodesign methodology).
Design, develop, and manufacture prototypes to verify functionality of product concepts and support through design & process verification and validation phases.
Plan, execute, evaluate, and document test series to assess prototype properties using statistical methods.
Evaluate new technologies, materials, and processes for potential application in product development.
About you:
Completed degree (Master’s or PhD) in Medical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on design, or another engineering discipline such as Precision Engineering, Process Engineering, etc.; ideally with additional qualifications such as professional experience or training in the medical field.
Experience with CAD (SolidWorks) and rapid prototyping is desirable.
Experience with process data management and automation is desirable.
Creative and independent working style combined with a high willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
