About the Role

The Institute of Entrepreneurship, Technology-Management, and Innovation (EnTechnon) at KIT is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Student Assistant to support research activities led by Dr. Faisal Saeed Malik. This is a part-time role requiring 8 working hours per week . It is ideal for students passionate about academic research, AIndriven literature analysis, and bibliometric tools, who want to gain practical experience in advancing scientific projects. You will be involved in literature reviews, data organization, and digital research workflows, working closely with a dynamic research team in an inspiring academic environment. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews using academic databases (e.g., Scopus, Web of Science) and AI tools (e.g., Consensus, Elicit, ResearchRabbit).
• Organize and manage bibliographic references with software such as EndNote, Zotero, or Mendeley.
• Prepare concise summaries and syntheses of academic articles and reports for ongoing projects.
• Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading research papers, presentations, and reports.
• Support preliminary data collection, bibliometric mapping, and analysis , including the use of software like Bibliometrix, VOSviewer, and AI-assisted platforms.
• Contribute to administrative and project management tasks to ensure smooth coordination of research activities. Required Qualifications and Skills • Enrollment as a student at a German university (KIT students preferred) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Data Science, or related fields).
• Demonstrated interest in AI applications in research and comfort working with digital tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with academic databases (Scopus, Web of Science) and willingness to learn bibliometric techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.
• Stronng organizational skills.
