Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH applies modern systems engineering techniques in the field of digital architecture for the development of our military land vehicles.
The C4ISR division analyzes, specifies and verifies the reconnaissance, sensor and communication sub-systems of our tactical vehicles based on features and functions.
As a systems engineer (m/f/d) in the field of C4ISR, you work at both the system and sub-system level of the entire vehicle.
- Analysis of stakeholder requirements for the selection and integration of components in sensor systems
- Analysis of stakeholder requirements for the selection and integration of radio and on-board communication architectures
- Creation of the system specification and interface documentation for the sub-system level
- Coordination with the system team and the specialist department for technical implementation
- Creation of verification documents and series test specifications (sub-system integration test specification)
- Successfully completed (technical) university degree in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science or comparable
- Experience in requirements management and system engineering for mechatronic products (DOORS and UML/SysML)
- Knowledge of the functional interaction of modern wireless communication systems as well as IT hardware and software
- Experience in system development according to V-model and with military or automotive standards is advantageous
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Willingness to occasional business trips
