Ready for your CFO story? At Hilti, you lay the foundation for an international career in finance.
We are looking for the leaders/CFOs of tomorrow! You already have initial practical experience (e.g., internships) in Controlling/Accounting, or at an audit or consulting firm? You aspire to build an international career as a Finance Leader/CFO? We offer you the opportunity to join the Hilti Group’s Finance function in an exciting development role! Together with your team, you will take on responsibility for Finance Controlling in the Central Europe region while also advancing your career growth through project assignments.
What You'll do
As a Finance Controller (m/f/d), you will support the Central Europe region throughout the entire Financial Performance Management process. In this role, you will share responsibility for preparing, coordinating, and executing all FP&A and Controlling activities, including monthly and annual closings, rolling forecasts, cost controlling, and business partnering. This provides you with a strong professional foundation for your future career development within Hilti Finance.
In addition, you embody the Business Partner role - for example, for the Finance Management Team incl. the CFO, the leaders of the Shared Service Center, or Indirect Procurement. Through various cross-functional and international projects, you will have multiple opportunities to apply your conceptual strengths and stakeholder management skills, developing and implementing solutions independently or as part of a team.
What You’ll Bring
- You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field—preferably with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Accounting.
- You have completed relevant internships and/or bring up to 3 years of professional experience in a corporate finance function, an audit firm, or a consulting environment.
- You have demonstrated your analytical capabilities and goal-oriented thinking through project-based work.
- You enjoy working with people, are a strong team player, and have excellent communication skills.
- You are proficient in all MS Office applications.
- You communicate fluently in English and have good German skills, and you are persuasive across functions and hierarchical levels.
- You are willing to relocate internationally in the medium term for a career with exciting advancement opportunities within the Hilti Group.

We encourage and challenge, act boldly and with trust. In this position, we offer you a career path tailored to your development. Through onboarding focused on project management, you will build the foundation for your global finance career. Cross-functional projects will give you rapid insights into Hilti and help you build a valuable internal network.
We also place great importance on achieving a healthy work-life balance. Therefore, we offer not only a permanent employment relationship but also a comprehensive and personalized benefits package, including:
- Employer-funded company pension plan
- Employee participation in company success
- Flexible working time models and teleworking options
