Tasks

• You build or further develop a central database (SSOT) according to requirements.
• You will develop an overview and a basic understanding of all data in the manufacturing context, find relevant data sources (SAP, SQL, Excel, and others), and integrate them. In doing so, you will develop and operate ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Your responsibilities also include preparing and structuring data.
• You document data models, KPI logics and data origins in a traceable manner and provide the data for BI and visualization tools.
• In your role, you will work closely with the internal IT department and other stakeholders.
• You will continue to handle platform tasks. These include database maintenance, monitoring, performance, and stability.
• You create, maintain, and implement authorization concepts. Supporting the administration of smaller development and data servers is also part of your role.

Profile

• You have completed vocational school training with several years of professional experience or a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, data science or a comparable qualification and have already gained more than 2 years of professional experience.
• You are familiar with relational data models and data warehouse basics and have experience with connecting and processing various source systems.
• You have acquired fundamental knowledge of SQL and ideally have experience with SAP as well as Python or similar scripting languages.
• You have basic knowledge of database operation, rights management and ideally server operation.
• You have a good understanding of data quality, data flows, and documentation.
• Your structured and precise work, your strong technical understanding and analytical skills set you apart.
• Your goal-oriented approach and independent work style are second nature to you.
